A Chistmas Card For Cowboys Fans

Dear Cowboys Fan,

Congrats on a successful Holiday season, you certainly have a lot to be thankful for. Not only did the Redskins find a way to lose 2 games against you that they should’ve won, they also defeated the Giants 2 times to put you in control of the NFC East title.

Now, Mr. & Mrs Cowboys Fan, it’s time to look forward to the New Year and to deal with the inevitable. While the Redskins have handed you a gift…we all know that Tony Romo is going to fumble it. Yes, we all know what the future holds, the only question is will Romo f#*k up your season in the next 2 weeks, or will it be in the first round of the playoffs?

I know Romo ruining your year is an annual tradition, but I had a question to ask you. Will you actually get the chance to visit Dallas this year? I know you’ve never been there before…which is odd, because you’re a “die-hard” fan?

I can’t wait to see what the future holds! My warmest Christmas wishes and a Happy New Year.

Disgruntled Redskins Fan

Suck a D

Cheers and Hail

Dallas Week: Memories…

Are you ready for Sunday night? If you’re not you will be after watching these highlights. HTTR

Nov 5, 2006 Redskins 22 Cowboys 19

Miracle win in the last seconds of the game after a nice return on a blocked FG by Sean Taylor and a 47-yard FG by Nick Novak. Click here to read my interview w/ Nick.

Dec 30, 2007 Redskins 27 Cowboys 6

The Redskins victory over the Cowboys locked up a playoff birth for the Redskins. The Cowboys rushed for 1 yard and the margin of victory was 21 points = Sean Taylor.

Dec 18, 2005 Redskins 35 Cowboys 7

The Redskins laid the wood to the Cowboys, Cooley had 3 TD’s and Daniels had 4 sacks.

Dec 22, 1996 Redskins 37 Cowboys 10

The last game at RFK, I was at this game and was on the field for the last 2 minutes of the game. The Cowboy helmet burning is sweet and we have a Shar Pourdanesh sighting.

Dec 11, 1983 Redskins 31 Cowboys 10

With everything on the line the Redskins rolled into Irving, TX (dressed in fatigues) and crushed the Cowboys in their own house.

Jan 22, 1983 Redskins 31 Cowboys 17

You know this one, one of my favorite days of all-time.

Cheers and Hail

It’s Dallas Week!

Per Tory Aikman’s interview on ESPN radio, the Dallas Cowboys are set to take on the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field at 4PM Week 1 of the 2010 NFL Season…it’s officially Dallas Week!

The official 2010 NFL schedule hasn’t been released, so at this point it’s strictly rumor. However, if the guy who’s going to be announcing the game knows the week, location and time…it’s safe to speculate it’s the truth. Let’s get it on. Besides having a chip on his shoulder for the Eagles, Donovan should be seeking some retaliation against the Cowboys.

Here’s a little something to get us Skin’s fans in the mood, the demolition of Texas Stadium. The hole was still in the roof so god saw it…and RFK is still standing nearly 15 years after the Redskins last played there…RFK wins!!!

Cheers and Hail

Hey, It’s Still Dallas Week!

Having suffered thru one of the worst games in one of the worst seasons in Redskins history you may be asking yourself…”what do I have left to root for?” Well, it’s Dallas week, and a win this weekend against our most hated rivals can seriously screw up the Cowboy’s playoff hopes.

This rivalry still means something and even when it seems the underdog in the series has no chance…the underdog always seems to rise to the occasion. In this case the Redskins are 6.5 point underdogs in their own house…and rightfully so after Monday night.

I’m hoping the Redskins show up on Sunday night and give me a late Christmas present and something to remember from the 2009 season. We’re 4-10, what are you going to do? It is what it is. Let’s beat the F’in Cowboys and look forward to 2010. HAIL!

Cheers and Hail

Dallas Week: 15 Most Hated Cowboys

It’s Dallas Week, and no matter what the records are, no matter who’s name is on the back of the jersey’s…it means everything. The greatest rivalry in sports will play out on Jerry’s Disneyland field this Sunday. A lot of players have worn the star on their helmets and it was quite hard to widdle this list down to the 15 players that I have deemed my “most hated.” I’m sure I’ve left a few out…tell me about your most hated Cowgirls in the comments. And here’s a Skins/Boys YouTube to get you in the mood (you’ve seen them a hundred times…but they get better each time!)

#15 Tank Johnson

If there had been a metal detector at FedEx Field this guy would have never made it on the field….furthermore he acted like he won the Superbowl every time he tackled a running back after a 5 yard gain.

T#14 Alvin Harper

Mr. I catch 40 yard bombs for the Cowboys left and right and then I sign with the Redskins and catch 1 ball for 12 yards.

T#14 James Washington

Another Norv Turner signing of an ex-Cowboy player to the Redskins. Nicknamed “Drive by” for his big hits in Dallas…he drove by RFK the one year he was supposed to be playing for the Skins.

#13 Rocket Ismail

The only redemption I get from his 80 yard TD in overtime to beat the Skins in 99 is that he is now broke and squandered away million$.

#12 Mark Stepnowski

Probably the reason Aikman is gay. Aikman spent 10 years with his hands between the legs of his pot smoking, hair down to the middle of his back center.

#11 Leon Lett

Leon, let that ball alone!

#10 Erik Williams

This guy was such an A-hole that Michael Irvin should have stabbed him.

#9 Billy Davis

A part time player who never really hurt the Skins, I will always hate this guy for making me lose a bet many years ago when he dropped a TD in the end zone which would have given me the cover. I will never forget you Billy Davis.

#8 Butch Johnson

The “California Quake.” Enough said.

#7 Keyshawn Johnson

You can find his Wikipedia profile by searching for “bitching “ or “moaning.”

#6 Ken Norton

Ken Norton Sr. was once knocked out by Gerry Clooney in the first round. Ken Jr. celebrated this feat by annoyingly fighting the goalpost after a big play.

#5 Danny White

Who the F QB’s and punts the football…well Joe T. did once. How annoying is that? Thankfully Dexter put an end to that entire BS!

#4 Bill Bates

The Cowboys answer to Brian Mitchell, you know…the guy who after every play gave the opposing team an extra shove and some extra shit talking to boot. You love them when they play for your team, when they play for the Cowboys…

#3 Terrell Owens

Do I even need to validate this with words?

#2 Michael Irvin

This is a guy I still loathe, long after his career is over. He is the very definition of offensive pass interference…he stabbed his own teammate with a pair of scissors!

#1 Deion Sanders

After annoying me in nearly every way I thought possible for 5 seasons in Dallas…Deion did himself one better and stole millions from the Redskins for 1 season in 2000, doing his best Carlos Rodgers imitation.

Cheers and Hail
