July 17: Happy Birthdays

Happy birthday Clarence Vaughn. Clarence played 5 seasons with the Washington Redskins appearing in 48 games from 1987-1991. He is a 2-time Super Bowl Champion. Clarence played strong safety and was a “core player” as Joe Gibbs likes to say. In retirement, Clarence works as a consultant for Verizon, coaches high school football, and is very involved in the NFLPA Alumni. He has a pretty cool website that you can view here. Happy 45th Mr. Vaughn.

Happy birthday Ron Middleton. Ron was a great blocking tight end for the Skins for 5 seasons and played in 62 games with them. He has a Super Bowl ring from the 1991 season and played 10 years and 118 games in the NFL overall. Ron got into coaching after retiring as a player and has coached under Jon Gruden and Nick Saban. Ron currently is the assistant head coach for the Duke Blue Devils. Happy 44th Mr. Middleton.
